•My truck broke down. (I still need to fix it, but I have a new —working— vehicle, so it’s less of a priority now.)
•My tooth broke.
•My back went out.
•My dog died.
•My grandmother just passed away.
Please help. I think I’m trapped inside a bad Country song.

Good punchline, anyway.
Sorry for your rough year. Read The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy.
For me, it wasn’t exactly help, but it explained everything.

I can’t help but I can bring some Whiskey or cheap beer to make the experience complete.

This means that you’re due for a turnaround, if that’s any consolation…???

Nimish - I’ve read Hitchhiker’s Guide… loved it. I haven’t read the other books in the series though, maybe I’ll go check those out tomorrow. 42, brother.
Megan - Thank you very much. However, I think I’ll stick with my gin. I wonder if there’s any way to sneak into a jazz number.
romi - That would definitely be a consolation, if I could believe it.
gabrielle - well, no one died this last weekend, so there’s some consolation.

Yikes! I hope things turn around … and I can second that the Hitchhikers Guide is a great read, as well as all of his other books … met him just before he died!
