Now if only I can find that guy who hands out pennies for all this stuff – wossname – The Forwards Fairy? – “Pass this to all your friends in the next 5 mins or all your kittens will die?” type forwards always scare me. I always delete them – I have no kittens. Not anymore at least!

Bird on a wire? Won’t ever get electrocuted – not enough potential difference between the two contact points (feet) to drive enough current through the high impedance medium that is the body. But yea, if it touches both simultaneously…

Medical equipment design, huh? I suppose I could read up on my EEE knowledge – but I’ve been in software for over a year now! :S

I’ve come near to choking a few times, and I worry that that’s how I’m going to go. It would be so awful. Electricity, at least, is quick. I can’t decide if it’s good to have an inkling, or if it could become a self-fulfilling prophecy. In case it’s the latter, I try not to worry about choking, which means I may not be as careful as I should be.

It’s always those words that make you actually experience the “experience” which get to me….i.e. when you dropped the word “sizzle” I could actually feel my eyebrows starting to singe….AHHH elecricity freaks me out….I recently found out that if you get pushed onto the subway tracks, you not only have to worry about getting hit by a subway train, but you also have to worry about landing on the 3rd rail, which will electrocute you.

I take the subway every day.

I am horribly afraid of fire. I just know I will die or inadvertently kill someone by fire.

I myself am sure I will meet my demise by breaking my neck because I’ve never broken a bone in my body (now 33).

I was electrocuted horribly when I was a small child by an electric fence (at least the version in my mind was horrific. Burnt hands unable to unfreeze my death grip position.

Yay for Electric Company!

3. I am, technically speaking, an electrical engineer. That means on a technicality, not technologically. I mean that’s what my degree says. Will say, when they’ll correct it. I’m digressing, aren’t I?
