I love the golden foam that rises to the top of my French press when I stir in the coffee grounds… lovely.

It’s been a long grey winter. It’s so wonderful to see the sun again. The trees are starting to blossom and the bulbs are braving an appearance. It’s a beautiful world.

February 9th, 2008: MILL CREEK

This wide little mucky creek flows through a terrible neighborhood in Salem, OR. My neighborhood, actually. But look at it… I love standing on the bridge and watching the water flow by.
